Adele will have to make more room in her trophy case to accommodate her newest award, the Golden Globe for Best Original Song, Motion Picture, for “Skyfall”. The nine time Grammy Award winner and 4 time American Music Awards winner seemed sincerely shocked to have nab the accolade – (she seemed to be the only one).
“Skyfall” was up against “For You” by Keith Urban from Act of Valor, “Not Running Anymore,” by Jon Bon Jovi, for Stand Up Guys, Taylor Swift‘s “Safe & Sound” from The Hunger Games and “Suddenly,” a new song written for Les Miserables.
In the Golden Globes’ other music category, Best Score for a Motion Picture, Mychael Danna won for the score of Life of Pi.
